During Milan Design Week 2026, Valdesign interpreted the “A Room For” concept through the latest developments in the Dolmen system, presenting a vision of the kitchen that is increasingly personalised and open to dialogue with the living space. A design narrative that placed the identity of each room and its inhabitants at the heart of the concept.
The new products presented included new Dolmen modules and brand-new open-plan units, elements designed to expand compositional possibilities and make the kitchen an even more flexible system. The interplay between solid and open spaces allowed for the creation of dynamic configurations, capable of adapting to different lifestyles whilst expressing a strong aesthetic coherence.
With these innovations, Valdesign has given concrete form to the “A Room For” concept, offering design tools that enhance personalisation and the balance between functionality and design. The kitchen has thus become a narrative space, where every choice has contributed to defining a unique living experience.
